Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and member of SSC's board since 2011 is the founding co-artistic director for the newly created theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. She was also the producer of costumes/sets, music director and composer for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. While she was usually the leader of the actors' ensemble, during her last year she made her debut as a director (and lighting designer) as part of the SSC's King Lear. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she has also appeared on a range of game-based shows. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were raised under the guidance of her scientific father Richard F. Post, as well as poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School was where she was a student and a cheerleader. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. Post she was married previously to Stephen Knox. Post has two daughters who are with actor/writer Michael A. Ross, who she got married to in 1982. Post is a great actor and an ideal mother and wife she is an inspiration to several Hollywood celebrities.
