Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actress and member of SSC's board since 2011 is the founding co-artistic director for the newly created theater firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. She was also the producer of costumes/sets, music director and composer for SSC during her time as its Artistic Director. While she was usually the leader of the actors' ensemble, during her last year she made her debut as a director (and lighting designer) as part of the SSC's King Lear.
